SUSIE NORRIS, PRESIDENT

Hi my name is Susan Norris. I like to be called Susie. I grew up in the Eastern Townships of Québec. My husband, Eric, and I retired here a few years ago and love it. I've always loved gardens. I had a small gardening business before moving to Nova Scotia. I enjoy many sports as well as continuing to learn more about plants and gardening.

janine brackett, vice president

Janine moved here from Windsor, Nova Scotia in 2009.  She joined the Bridgetown Area Garden Club to learn more about gardening and to meet people in her new hometown of Bridgetown. Mission accomplished! Janine thoroughly enjoys the activities, the opportunities to help out in her community and the many people she has come to call friends.

nicola mCcarthy, TREASURER

Nicki moved to Nova Scotia from the UK in 2016 on retirement from her career in Disaster Management and Financial Services. Having grown flowers and shrubs for many years, she is now discovering the joy and challenges of growing vegetables and fruit. Nicki particularly loves the presenters who come to the garden club to share their experience on a wide range of topics, and the practical workshops for learning new skills.
