description of PROGRAMS
Among the many things we offer (along with our monthly meetings) are workshops, interesting and informative speakers, garden tours, and other fun activities and events. Check out our NEWS & EVENTS section for what's to come or our calendar for event dates and times.
Monthly Meetings
We meet one evening each month with the exception of July and August. Our meetings consist of a brief business update followed by a guest speaker and a wide variety of gardening-related topics.
Workshops
Throughout the year we hold a series of ‘hands-on’ workshops. All materials are provided but a minimal fee is charged to cover the cost of supplies.
Garden Tours
In the summer months we tour local area and regional gardens. Our tours cover a range of different styles of gardens.
Children & Youth Activities
We hold periodic activities specifically for children and youth.
Community Outreach
Community outreach is one of our greatest strengths as a club. We perform a variety of activities to support the community including:

- Presentations on gardening activities to outside groups
- Donating “weeding” time to our local Lion’s Club Fund Raising Auction
- Supporting the local food bank with donations and the BAGC “Grow-a-Row” program
